A Cursed Place

By Megan Thomas

I read the latest adventures of William Carver not knowing that there were other books, but I had a connection with every character regardless. So it’s definitely possible to read this as a stand-alone – but I can only imagine how familial these characters would feel after reading multiple books!

I reviewed it for Buzz Magazine, the full extent of which you can read on their website, but here’s a snippet:

“The multi-pronged plot follows journalists reporting on uprisings in Hong Kong and the violent response from the Chinese State in its determination to maintain control, brainiacs in Silicon Valley paving the way forward using the bricks and mortar of personal data, and dealings in Chilean mines that surpass simply digging up raw materials. All these threads, connected by the powers that be… or rather, by big tech.”
