The first book, Who Moved My Cheese, is about what to do when your cheese gets moved and how to move on. The second book is about what to do if you didn’t move on; and that maybe finding some apples is just as good as cheese.
An important (and hopefully obvious) reminder: #thecheeseisametaphor.
It’s important to take this for what it is – an endearing fable that takes a lesson we’ve all heard before, and gives it a fresh take. It’s simple, but not painfully so: I read it in an hour on the train and it was just enough. It was written by Dr Spencer Johnson when he was sick, and published and left for us in his wake. A fitting send off, for sure.
